Hello everyone and welcome to the French version of the Yedidia website. In this article, we're going to talk about an important subject: the events unfolding at the end of the year and how, as Christians, we must remain vigilant and persevere in prayer to protect ourselves. So we're going to pray together at the end to ask for divine protection to get us through this tumultuous period that is the end of the year. Please stay with us until the end.
The end of the year is often marked by celebrations and festivities. However, it's also a time when occult practices can manifest themselves. Events like Halloween, pagan rituals and other dark spiritual activities can take place. Some people may turn to practices such as black magic, witchcraft, or other forms of spiritual manipulation. These activities are often active at the end of the year, a time perceived as propitious for change and new beginnings. These occult practices can open dangerous spiritual doors. Participating in, or even simply being exposed to, these activities can attract negative influences and disturb our spiritual peace.
It's a time of rejoicing, family gatherings and social events. However, many people, including Christians, can get distracted by these festivities and let their spiritual guard down. This makes them vulnerable to the attacks of evil entities and they can unfortunately get drawn into depraved activities, which will open a wide door for the enemy the devil to initiate himself into their lives.
It's often during this period that we observe many tragedies, accidents and other unfortunate events. The Bible warns us in 1Peter 5:8: “Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
We need to be aware of the spiritual dangers around us and avoid participating in activities that could compromise our faith. How can we protect ourselves spiritually from these dangers you ask? Here are 4 practical tips for staying spiritually strong during this time.
Read the Bible daily :
The Bible is the Word of God and our spiritual guide. It offers us teachings, encouragement and warnings for our daily lives. Set a specific time each day to read the Bible, whether it's in the morning, during a lunch break, or before bedtime. Use reading plans or Bible apps to help you stay consistent. Daily Bible reading strengthens our faith, gives us wisdom and helps us stay aligned with God's will.
Avoiding negative influences :
Our activities and companies can influence our state of mind and our spiritual life. It's crucial to choose positive influences that bring us closer to God. The Bible rightly gives us this warning in 1Corinthians 15:33.
“Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
Be selective in your choices of entertainment, reading and companies. Avoid content that glorifies violence, the occult or other practices contrary to your faith. By avoiding negative influences, we protect our minds and hearts, and stay focused on what is good and pure.
Giving thanks to God :
Gratitude is an attitude that transforms our perspective. By giving thanks to God, we acknowledge His blessings and faithfulness in our lives. 1Thessalonians 5:18.
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.”
Take a moment each day to thank God for blessings big and small. Keep a gratitude journal where you write down the things for which you are thankful. Cultivating a grateful heart helps us stay positive, strengthen our faith and see God's hand at work in our lives.
Prier seul ou Participer à des réunions de prière :
Collective prayer is powerful. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Join prayer groups in your church or community. If you can't meet physically, join online prayer meetings. Group prayer strengthens our faith, creates mutual support and allows us to share our burdens and joys with other believers. You can also request a prayer directly by clicking on this link: Prayer request.
In all these 4 steps, prayer remains the most important.
Prayer is our most powerful weapon against the forces of evil. Ephesians 6:18 encourages us to pray at all times, by the Spirit, with all kinds of prayers and supplications. As the year draws to a close, let's intensify our prayers to ask for God's protection over ourselves and our families. Let us pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize and avoid spiritual pitfalls.
Now, let's pray together to ask God for total protection for us and for all the members of our homes this December. Before we begin, we want to remind you that this prayer is an example. You don't have to make it an exclusive prayer and repeat it every time, because as Jesus said :
“When praying, do not multiply vain words, like the pagans, who imagine that by dint of words they will be heard.”
We must pray from our heart, with sincerity and faith in our own words, for God the Father knows our needs in advance, before we come to ask him.
Now let us pray :
Almighty God, we thank you for your grace, blessings and divine protection throughout the year, right up to this last month of December. Lord, we are aware of the many joyful and spiritual activities taking place this month. This is why we come before you to ask for your divine protection and wisdom, so that we may have the discernment we need to avoid spiritual pitfalls.
We stand in prayer at this moment and intercede for ourselves and our family. Father, receive our petitions and supplications in Jesus' name, for it is written that whatever we ask in his name, you will grant it to us.
You promised in your Word that no evil would befall us, and that no plague would come near our tent. May it be so for us and our whole family as the year draws to a close, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We invoke your Holy Spirit, who is a fire before which none can stand, to cover us and all the members of our family, so that no entry is possible to evil spirits, visible or invisible.
Just as the angel of death passed through Egypt, killing all the first-born of the Egyptians but sparing the Israelites because they had sprinkled their homes with the blood of the lamb, we also invoke the powerful blood of your son Jesus Christ, which was shed to save us, on all our homes and all our family members. May any demonic or satanic entity sent by our oppressors find no sin in us, and pass over our heads.
It is written in Psalm 112:7: “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:
His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.” May it be so for us as the year draws to a close, may no misfortune or bad news knock on our door.
Psalm 91:1, says: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Here we are before you, Almighty God. We have no statues, no voodoo, no spells, no magic, no other form of protection on us. All we have is you and you alone. So, cover us with your shadow so that we can have a well-deserved rest and enjoy all the joyous moments of this end-of-year with our families and loved ones in peace.
May every weapon forged against us by occultists, sorcerers or any known or unknown enemy be null and void, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Finally, Heavenly Father, we don't ask for the death of our enemies, we don't wish them sickness or misfortune, because we are your children and we have a good heart like you, our Father in heaven. Despite all your enemies, you send rain to everyone and deprive no one of your sunshine. We pray that they will repent and draw near to you, the Creator of heaven and earth, to see how gentle you are and how we have peace of heart in having you as our God. If they pull themselves together and abandon their evil plans against us, your children, Father in heaven, forgive them their sins and do not punish them. But if they persist in wanting to exterminate us, if you warn them repeatedly as you warned the Egyptians to leave your people alone, and they continue in their evil ways, may your divine justice, which is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, strike them down. Yes, let them fall into their own traps. May they themselves fall into the hole they are digging to throw us into. As you brought Daniel out of the lion's den and threw his enemies in, so let it be with those who insist on burying us.
To all our subscribers here or those who will be subscribing today, may the peace of the Lord be granted to you. May the peace that the world does not know and cannot give fill you and all the members of your family. May the peace of Christ, which emanates from the throne of the Most High, be yours to share, so that you may end this year in beauty with your loved ones.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
Amen.
Write “Amen” in the comments to activate this prayer in your life. Your “Amen” means “so be it” or “so be it unto me”.
May God bless and protect you as the year draws to a close.
See you soon.
